- The Texas Forest Service has a grant for Compressed Air Foam Systems. The suggested guidelines and performance standards almost mirror the Odin Colt CAFS module. In the interest of "exceeding our customers expectations" we have developed a spin off model of the Colt called the "Cougar". The Cougar CAFS model surpasses all of the requirements set forth in the Texas Forest Service grant with features such as:
- Liquid-cooled, fuel injected, engine
- 250 gpm water flow
- Rotary screw compressor
- Stainless steel plumbing
- Direct injection, discharge side, foam system
- Independent water and CAFS discharges
- High performance CAFS discharge
- Engine
- Kawasaki 29 HP, liquid cooled, v-twin, gasoline powered fuel injected, vernier throttle, 12 volt, electric start.
- Control Panel
- Illuminated laser cut, brushed stainless steel panel with all engine, air compressor, water pump, and foam injection system controls and instruments installed.
- Pump System
- Darley model 2 1/2 AE with (1) fully adjustable 1 1/2" CAF discharge mix point, (1) 1 1/2" water discharge, 2 1/2" NPT suction inlet, 12 volt electric primer, 2 1/2" water and air pressure gauges, pump drain valve and stainless steel plumbing.
- Air compressor system
- Rotary screw with Auto Odin Balance Valve.
- Frame
- Lightweight aluminum with fork lift provisions.
- Foam Proportioner System
- Darley Fast Foam 50 Class "A" Foam Proportioner System.
